BerryTail ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the BerryTail app processes and why. BerryTail does not require an account — you can use it without signing up, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
Your pets' profiles, photos, documents, notes, weights, feeding logs, reminders and app settings are stored locally on your device. We have no server and no access to this content. If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS, your device backup (managed by Apple) may include this app data — that backup is controlled by you through your Apple account.
Subscriptions are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. We use RevenueCat to manage your subscription status. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID and purchase events from Apple — not your name or email. This is used only to unlock the features you paid for and to restore purchases.
BerryTail schedules local notifications on your device (reminders you set up). These do not leave your device — there is no push server and no third-party notification provider.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts or location. We do not sell or rent any data.
The only third parties involved are Apple (payments, App Store) and RevenueCat (subscription management), acting on our behalf. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.
BerryTail is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Apple and RevenueCat may process data in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards.
We may update this policy. The latest version is always available in the app and on this page.
